We were founded to encourage all district eightball players to play a friendly and competitive game. Our game is now recognised internationally as a sport. To achieve our goals, we have established two main tournaments in each given year. We call these tournaments the "Winter Season" games and the "Summer Season" games. The Winter Season generally commences in the beginning of March each year, whilst the Summer Season usually commences about the end of September in each year. Our membership is drawn from the Fraser Coast region (principally Hervey Bay). We started our Association in 1996 with about 45 members. At this point of time, we boast a player membership of some 180 registered persons.
